Each of the artists takes the approach to gesture using line and plane to form a personal idiom.
JOSH DAYTON

In his recent work, Dayton's gestural linear and textural strokes interact with flat, bold color shapes of painted paper on canvas, strategically placed on a ground of color or white. Floating, biomorphic forms reference organic and human experience.

CAROL HUNT

Hunt is showing a selection of paintings on canvas, works on paper using ink, graphite, and watercolor, along with solar etchings. Her work draws inspiration from music, mathematics, and Eastern culture.

FULVIO MASSI

Massi, was born in Italy. He uses acrylic, oil, ink, and pastel to create soft edged painted areas with freely drawn curvilinear lines which overlap and interact with the painted shapes to create a dynamic , at times surrealist effect. More structural elements suggest his experience as a professional architect.

HANS VAN DE BOVENKAMP

A native of Holland, the sculptor has been exhibited in national and international exhibitions for over 40 years. His bronze and stainless sculptures range from small to monumental. Many works reflect interest in pre-modern culture and philosophy. Shapes with flat planes interact with curves and angles to form complex units. Numerous monolithic outdoor works are in public collections worldwide.
