Southampton String Festival The fifth annual Southampton String Festival will take place from July 7-18, with instruction for violin, viola, cello, and bass players of all levels, ages 6-19. From the Director's Desk:
As we move into summer, an anticipation of the impending "season" seems to emanate everywhere. We will bring you many events in the upcoming months including art shows, recitals, concerts and our ever popular "Concerts in the Park" Series, now in its 23rd season. The successful conclusion of our first three theater productions has left our audiences wanting for more and I am excited about our "Sondheim Celebration" under the direction of Michael Disher in early September and October. We will offer summer programs such as our "Annual String Camp" and a writing workshop and continue with year-round art classes, music and language lessons. I invite you to make us part of your summer in the Hamptons whether you are a year-round resident or visitor to our area.
