Tanya Gabrielian’s international successes include first prizes in both the 2004 Scottish International Piano Competition and the 2003 Aram Khachaturyan International Piano Competition. She has performed in renowned concert halls throughout North America, Europe, and Asia and was featured on the cover of the November 2007 issue of the magazine Clavier. In 2008, Ms. Gabrielian was chosen as the winner of the Pro Musicis International Award and a participant in the Hampton’s Pianofest.
Ms. Gabrielian has performed all over the world. Her Southbank debut recital in the Purcell Room in London was chosen as one of the “Performances of the Year 2006” by Seen and Heard International.

A benefit concert for the Southampton Cultural Center Chamber Music Series will take place on May 2, 2010 at 4:00pm featuring Philip Setzer of the Emerson String Quartet. Mr. Setzer will join members of the Southampton Cultural Center Chamber Players in a concert featuring the iconic Dvorak piano quintet. Come hear an afternoon of beautiful music performed by a nine-time Grammy winning artist and meet all the players after the concert at a champagne reception.

The Annual East End Composers Concert will feature music for violin, cello and piano by area composers Victoria Bond, Eleanor Cory, Stephen Dickman and Roger Trefousse. With the composers in attendance, this program always features a variety of compositional personalities and this time includes audience participation! Performers are Marc Levine, violin; Tomoko Fujita, cello; and Gloria Shih, piano.
